Since 1994, the Institute maintains a partnership with the
Center for Italian Studies of the University of Notre Dame, together with the
Devers Family Program in Dante Studies.
The partnership offers in-depth courses and professional
training on research and publish entries for the TLIO dictionary to several
members of the Notre Dame community, coordinated by Demetrio S. Yocum.
The training activities take place both via Zoom and in the
OVI headquarters for two weeks during the summer period (OVI Summer Internship for Students), on various topics
concerning early Italian literature, philology, and lexicography, coordinated
by Demetrio S. Yocum with the collaboration of Paolo Squillacioti.
In particular, the seminars are held by OVI scholars (or invited by OVI)
and Notre Dame scholars (or invited by Notre Dame), and are followed by
Florence, Notre Dame, the Global Gateway of Notre Dame in Rome, and from
various other offices connected via Zoom. For more information, please visit
the UND - OVI Seminars page.
